Variations on familiar songs...according to me this Christmas of 2011

Christmas time is here
Happiness and cheer
Fun for all, until I recall
That's everyone but me

Snowflakes not in the air
Carols sung nowhere
Oh that I, wasn't so spite-
ful All throughout this year...

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
In a year your troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Forget the words I say
I've had a year of troubles leading to today

Here you are as in olden days
Happy golden days of your
Faithful friends who are dear to you
Gather near to you once more

Through the years you all will be together
If the Lord allows
As for me, I'll have to muddle through somehow
But have yourself a merry little Christmas now...

Rocking around the Christmas....wait we have no tree
Well I guess that makes this song meaningless...for me...

In fact no snow also means the songs:
Sleigh ride, frosty the snowman, rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, winter wonderland, and every other song mentioning snow or things made of snow are completely out...

Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Everyone wishes for silver and gold
How do you measure it's worth?
Just by the greed that it spreads here on earth

Silver and gold
Silver and gold
Means so much less when I see
Silver and gold decorations on someone else's Christmas tree...

So, we take away the merry, the money, the tree, and the snow, and now the true meaning of Christmas is all we have left, but somehow that's all that matters....

Away in a manger no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus lays down his sweet head
The stars in the sky look down where he lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay...

Hark! the Harold angels sing
Glory to the new born King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled...

Joy to the world!
The Lord has come
Let earth receive her King...

O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him-
Christ the Lord!

You can have this whole world, but give me Jesus!  Hope in Jesus is what I have left this Christmas, and it's more than enough...thank  you Lord.

HAHA

Finally, a place I know no one and no one can give me their unwanted counsel or berate me or judge me for something I did or did not say.
